FEATURED
Feeling overwhelmed with all the clutter and don't know where to start? Let us give you some tips to put you at ease with steps you can easily take
We all know how easy it is to clean up or organize something that is not too messy. It's a different story when that mess has "mutated" into something that leaves us wondering where to even start.
The answer for many of us in that situation is, with the smallest and easiest ones. If we want to get ambitious about, oftentimes it ends up with us backing out of tackling a big project. If that works for you, go for it, otherwise continue with these steps!
Get paper and pen in hand. Preferably, a nice, small notebook.
Write the date you are starting.
Look up and write down the first and small task, or messy thing that catches your eye that you can clean or organize in a matter of seconds or very few minutes easily. You can put many tiny tasks at once, or you can put one at a time as you do them, doesn't matter. Examples: 1. remove used cup from coffee table, 2. put dirty jacket in the basket
Put a check mark next to each number task you complete. You will have proof of your work.
Eventually you will see how much you have accomplished. Your trust in yourself to organize things around the house will unavoidably increase. Before you know it, you will have organized more than you thought you could.
